The Cisco NIM-ES2-4 is a 4-port Gigabit Ethernet Layer 2 switch Network Interface Module designed for the Cisco ISR 4000 Series Integrated Services Routers (ISR 4221, 4321, 4331, 4351, 4431, and 4461).

This NIM module adds four 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 Ethernet ports with full Layer 2 switching capabilities directly inside the router. It allows the ISR 4000 router to function as a small integrated switch for LAN connectivity, eliminating the need for an external switch in many branch or small office deployments. The module supports VLANs, Spanning Tree, QoS, and other Layer 2 features while being fully managed through the router’s IOS XE.

The Cisco N2K-C2248PQ-FAN is the high-speed fan tray assembly (also known as the fan module or fan pack) for the Cisco Nexus 2248PQ 10GE Fabric Extender (FEX) in the Nexus 2000 Series.
This fan tray is specifically the reverse airflow variant (port-side intake, back-to-front airflow), color-coded red for hot-aisle alignment (ports in cold aisle, power supplies/fans in hot aisle).
