The Cisco C6800-16P10G (also known as C6800-16P10G V01) is a high-performance 40 Gigabit Ethernet line card for the Cisco Catalyst 6800 Series chassis-based switches (C6807-XL and C6816-XL Supervisor Engine 6T/2T).

This is a single-slot line card that provides:

• 16 × 10 Gigabit Ethernet SFP+ ports
• 4 × 40 Gigabit Ethernet QSFP+ ports

It is designed for high-density 10G/40G aggregation, data center access/aggregation, campus core/distribution, or service provider edge deployments where massive bandwidth and low latency are required.

The module is based on the CEF720 architecture with distributed forwarding (dCEF), delivering non-blocking, line-rate performance across all ports when used with a compatible Supervisor Engine (Sup6T or Sup2T). It supports full Layer 2/3/4 switching and routing, advanced QoS, security ACLs, Flexible NetFlow, MPLS, VRF-Lite, and large-scale multicast.
