The HP J9990A is a high-performance expansion module for the HPE Aruba 5400R zl2 Series switches. It provides 20 x 1GbE PoE+ ports and 4 x 10GbE SFP+ uplink ports, significantly expanding both access port density and high-speed connectivity in the modular zl2 chassis.

This v3 module is designed for the Aruba 5400R zl2 platform and delivers full wire-speed performance with Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE+) on all 20 copper ports (up to 30W per port). The 4 SFP+ ports support 10 Gigabit fiber or DAC connections for uplinks or stacking. It is ideal for powering IP phones, access points, cameras, and IoT devices while providing high-bandwidth backbone connectivity.
